About us: DGIC International Business Services Ltd. is the business unit of the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Nigeria (known as AHK Nigeria within the AHK network). DGIC Ltd. facilitates bilateral trade and investment relations between Nigeria and Germany. It serves as the main contact point for German companies seeking to establish business relations in Nigeria, and vice versa.

At our office in Lagos, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as:

Project Manager – Events & Marketing

Start Date: 01 June 2025

Location: Lagos (Hybrid)

Role Overview:

As the Events and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and oversight of events and marketing campaigns from inception to completion. Your focus will include managing the website, overseeing all communication platforms, such as social media and email, and ensuring the consistent application of corporate design guidelines across all marketing and office related materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the General Manager.

• Plan, manage, and execute events (physical and digital), including logistics, budgeting, promotion, and on-site coordination.

• Regularly maintain and update the website regularly.

• Develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns to support event and organizational goals.

• Ensure consistent application of corporate design.

• Manage communication channels, including social media and newsletters.

• Monitor project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met.

• Analyse campaign and event performance and provide actionable insights for improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in event management and marketing.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders, team members, and clients.

• Experience in managing budgets, timelines, and teams.

• Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media, email marketing, website management).

• Graphic design skills are an advantage.

• German language skills are an advantage.

• A valid Nigerian work permit is required.
